~ Local Government Committee Information ~ Welcome - As Chair of the Senate Local Government
Committee, I
welcome you to the Committee’s webpage. The
Local Government Committee reviews bills pertaining to State legislators pass hundreds of bills
every year. I consider it essential for us to fully weigh the
potential impacts of legislation affecting local agencies that serve
you - before they are approved and sent to the Governor. As part
